Cat

The old cat.
It was sort of a joint "shared custody" thing between a friend and I. This cat started showing up around my place, and after a while, I started feeding it (no, not people food or anything, actual proper cat food) because it was getting really uber-skinny, and then finally my friend and I decided to try and officially take it in. She had two cats already, and Tigger did not like it so much when they got the other little guy- took a very very long time for him to adapt, so she couldn't take him in, and I had a dog. So this little guy took a place in a nice place in my Garage for a bit. There was a nice box and blankets and even a pillow as a bed, and then he was free to roam, obviously. But this way he could stay warm when it started getting cold out. In the summer we left the garage open a bit so he could even stay and go as he pleased (oh the good old days when the neighborhoods were that safe). Then after a few months, we found the little guy a home.
Not all cats are evil incarnate.

Just many....
Back to Semiotics. Tah

Rested, Caffeinated and ready to go.

Man things are looking up!
Getting far more busy than I care to be, but Finally decently organized. The shit hit the fan a few nights ago with my History essay. Besides the fact that the site I needed was hacked, I realized my books (the only ones I had as I had to get them through inter library loans) were due in a week. That scared the shit out of me placing me in a mad panic to get the essay done. Then I was printing off my lecture notes this morning, and it hit me: My printer is a scanner! D'uh. So though it took an hour and a half, I marked all the pages that I would need out of the books and scanned them and converted them into PDFs. Now I can still obviously not stay completely lax, as frankly I would rather books than more staring at a screen reading poor resolution- documents, but if perchance (since I am balancing it with the Polisci essay that is infact due on the 6th) that I don't get it done, then no worries.

Gotta love technology when it helps you out.

Last night a friend of mine came by and I ended up helping her with her essay until about 1 AM shortly after and that made me end working on mine at about 12 and by the time she left I was far too tired to get back into it, so I ended up going to bed by 2:30! I feel so totally rested! It is amazing. (I still dozed in Culture...but that's because it was Culture; can you blame me?)

Well, I should get-a-typin'. I have english at 5, then back here for a short while only to go back out in a little bit with some people. I would also like to take a moment to post something I found from one of my feats over ODSS...

It was actually something a friend of mine saw and said she had to secretly rip off the shelf. And now I share it with those of you who are X Files fans as well...

(look Familiar, Edge? Oh yea. I kept it...)
Best Grad present...
Tah tah for now...
I'll say this ONE last TIME! Don't Mess with me, technology! Printer broke this afternoon, and though it took three hours, two ink cartaliges (shhhh...been a long day, tonight it is a word), and two fairly ink covered hands...I FIXED IT! So Fuck you very much printer, but no.

Photos

Some pics from when I technically should have been sleeping, but instead, was starring aimlessly out my Window at the sunrise. It was definitely gorgeous.
