Okay, after tonight, the idea of spending yet a full year here is getting less and less appealing. The other day, I was walking home from work, and it was warm, quiet, blue skies as a backdrop, and the line of houses and ancient-looking churches lining the streets. It almost seemed too peaceful to ever comprehend it being the right street that I have been bitching about in the last few weeks. However, night descends and it all again makes sense. My roommates and I are at odds, well, a few of us, and the place here is not running too smoothly. I have had my door locked the entire night because there were creepy people hanging around outside, and loud noises, and then for a full hour, creepy crank calls started in. After a while, I started to just pick up and hang up, but that still didn’t stop it. And not answering at all didn’t stop it, and answering—nope. I don’t know, so, I got a little creeped out to say the least. Oh, I was home alone (and enjoying it for the most part.)
Somehow I think what ever that dream was last night that led me to be apprehensive today, was right.
I almost slept in and missed my bus into class, too. Tomorrow I will have a few hours to kill between classes, so I am going to bring in my laptop and try and figure out what the hell’s up with the Trent network. I spent the better part of the two hour lecture playing with the cmd prompt, the network set up, and everything, and still to no avail. Grrr…. It won’t let me connect at school. Hmph.
Trent IT better not be full of assholes this year.
And as for being back in the game of politics… Due to work, I was going to miss the scheduled Polisci meeting to set up the society, held at 3 on Sunday. Well, looks like everyone stood him up. So, he asked either today or tomorrow, if that would work for people. So, so far he hasn’t clarified a time, but looks like there’s still a chance to weasel in there.
Classes themselves are very slow so far. I have to start studying the map of Russia, and such, as we have a test on that next week. Our first seminar is tomorrow, and she still has not gotten back on when my slot is. Hmmm… not sure if I should email her, again.
Yea, that about sums up school.
Just slow, right now.
As for work, ugh. Squeezed out of three hours of pay. Grr.
I am huntin' for a new place, though. Hopefully Staples or Home Depot is hiring still...
They're not on commission, either.
Well, I shall write more later, I think I have a long night ahead, after some stuff that's happened, I am wide awake. And I think I may rearrange a few things, clean the rats and fishies...you know. Then maybe watch some Wings.

This is Peterborough. Yes, flat, eh? Well, this is actually the Kawartha Lakes. This is a little whiles away of the actual city, the Otonabee river is what goes through Peteborough, which has been shown in a previous blog.
