What can I say? Old habits die hard. Looks like I have a bit of Canadian Nationalism in me, afterall. I know, I know; it is New York: My love. But the Leafs, well...they just won't stop fighting, and for that, you have to give them some credit. It is that sense of perseverance that inspires us fans to back them, even when they haven't won in....well, let's not measure the years; tonight is a night of celebration. Though Mats didn't manage a goal, tonight, and McCabe did...what a world...
I have Chronic Pain, which is what this blog is dedicated to. There is a deep misunderstanding and lack of support in society for those suffering with chronic pain; namely because it is a blanket term for so many conditions.
It is a silent and invisible illness that gets us ridicule, and undeserved judgment. This is in hopes people can see what it is like in a narrative perspective, and those who are suffering, can see they're not alone.
You would root for the Leafs to make the playoffs over the Islanders? That's right, the NEW YORK Islanders? Geez, I don't get you.
