description of upcoming assignment: "3-4 pages due, October 31 (10% of final grade)
During the first term, students will be required to write a brief (3-4 pages) critical reading summary on the course readings on approaches to understanding the International System. Papers over 4 pages will receive a mark of ZERO!"
My problem:
This paper essentially asks us to write about everything covered in the last 6 weeks of lecture, and all the readings. Throughout then, there's been about 8-9 theories...
Now, that's not going to fit on 3-4 pages, let alone is it something you can write a paper on, so what exactly are they asking? Choose a perspective, choose a few and contrast them? Choose like...constituative versus explanatory?
Anyway, yea, I hate IR theory class...
